Open Day: Monash University Malaysia

Visit Monash University Malaysia to meet academics and university representatives on 23 March from 11am-4pm and get a better understanding of what this top tier university can offer.

Find out more about the undergraduate programmes offered including Arts and Social Sciences, Business, Engineering, Medicine and Health Sciences, Information Technology, Pharmacy, Psychology and Science. Monash Malaysia is a premier research-intensive Australian university established in 1998 as the third largest campus of Australia's largest university and Malaysia’s first foreign university campus. 

As part of this Open Day, there will be a valuable talk about the Monash University Foundation Year course – helpful for those who have just finished secondary school and want information on a good pre-university programme. There will also be a ‘Career in Medicine’ talk by Professor Shajahan Yasin aimed at parents and future students who are contemplating studying Medicine. Additionally, two workshops – clinical skills and anatomy – will be held from 11am-4pm for more hands-on experiences. 

A postgraduate preview will also be happening featuring courses for International Business, Professional Counselling, Advanced Engineering, Business Information Systems and Communications and Media Studies. 

An application fee waiver will be offered to applicants at the Open Day and scholarships are also available.

Tours around the campus and school laboratories will be conducted throughout the day for future students and their parents. Monash Malaysia is equipped with excellent facilities including food outlets and a gymnasium. It is also well situated in Sunway City where shopping and leisure activities are within walking distance.
