The basis of academic success
While BSKL prides itself on its academic success, this is a school that is aware of the many aspects that contribute to this. Well-qualified teaching staff who go the extra mile for their students, cultivating relationships with parents to create a supportive community, constantly monitoring progress and encouraging scholastic success – these are some of the indispensable advantages BSKL offers.
Pastoral care is also an important attribute and BSKL makes every endeavour to encourage a student’s personal development beyond the classroom. This includes interesting extra-curricular activities, sports, music, drama, community projects, participating in awards and House events. These pursuits are aimed at instilling confidence, enhancing social skills and ensuring students become well-rounded individuals.
What characteristics form high performing students?
Excellent results are always a combination of many factors, and hard work is always top of the list and is the key to a student’s success and gaining top marks. Exam success is also based on being organised and this is where BSKL steps up and focuses on teaching organisation to maximise academic return. A positive atmosphere, resilience, the ability to learn from constructive criticism and mutual respect are also part of the school’s winning formula.
