As a member of the Taylor’s Education Group, Nexus International School Malaysia (NISM) welcomes learners aged three to 18  starting with the International Early Years Curriculum Years (IEYC) and International Primary Curriculum (IPC), through to the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) and International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). Learning at NISM centres around The Nexus Way, which comprises four elements – Inclusion, Innovation, Mindsets, Relationships. These encourage learners to embrace diversity and sets them on a path to becoming future global citizens and leaders. The school has been awarded five stars for excellence by the Ministry of Education Malaysia (SKIPS), and is an Apple Distinguished School, a member of the Council of International Schools and an accredited IPC Master School.

Academic excellence
Outstanding results have been achieved across a wide range of subjects, and over the past five years, the IBDP pass rate at NISM has stood at 95.9% compared to the global average of 78.2%. Learners have gone on to pursue their tertiary studies at top universities both locally and across the world in the UK, US, Canada, Singapore, Japan and China. The Nexus scholarship programme offers full and partial IBDP scholarships to worthy and suitable candidates.

Technology-based school
NISM is equipped with 21st century digital tools and very knowledgeable and qualified staff such as Apple Distinguished Educators and Google Educators. The school understands that learners must embrace the latest technology to skilfully navigate academics and their career paths. These tools also allow communication between teachers and parents through videos, blogs, online reporting, booking systems and support collaboration between all members of the community.

Supportive community relationships
With a student body comprising children from all over the world and Malaysia, teaching staff also offer diversity. To enhance support for learners, the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is on hand to ensure parents play an integral role in their children’s education.
