Matrix Global Schools 
Matrix Global Schools is located in Seremban and has both a private and international school offering the standard Malaysian curriculum and the English national curriculum respectively. In the international section, Cambridge programmes (Checkpoint and IGCSE) are followed. Primary school students are encouraged to learn through play and project-based activities, and teachers are mostly expatriates with native speakers for Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia. St. Christopher’s International Primary School (SCIPS)
One of the older international schools in Penang, SCIPS opened in 1963 and offers a British-based curriculum. It’s a non-denominational, not-for-profit school and prides itself on having a ‘small school’ atmosphere. It’s a member of FOBISIA (Federation of British International Schools in Asia) and accepts children from the ages of three (Nursery) to 11 (Year 6).

GEMS International School, Pearl City 
Located on the mainland across from Penang island, GEMS International School of Pearl City offers the British International Curriculum starting with the Little GEMS (Early Years Foundation Stage) through to Year 6 and secondary school. Besides the usual primary subjects, the school also provides Ministry of Education-directed subjects – Malay, Mandarin and Malaysian Studies – to ensure children get the best of both curriculums.

Lodge International School 
For parents in Sarawak, Lodge International School is an affordable option for a British National Curriculum education. Classes start at Year 2 (age seven) and in addition to the core subjects, students have the option of taking Mandarin or Korean as well as Malay; Malaysian students will study Local and Malaysian studies too. There’s a wide range of extra-curricular activities available after school for students to participate in.

Crescendo-HELP International School
A relatively new school located in Johor, Crescendo-HELP International School opened the doors to its modern purpose-built campus last year. Offering the International Primary Curriculum, class sizes are pegged at 25 students and Year 6 students sit for Cambridge Checkpoint tests in English, maths and science. School facilities include swimming pools, sports fields, tennis courts and performing arts spaces.
