Peter & Jane Kindergarten (Saujana)

Level of Education

Peter & Jane Kindergarten was founded in 1982, and this pioneer of preschool education in Malaysia was established with a strong focus in offering a quality and holistic early years education for children aged 2.5 to 6 years old. It’s backed by a reputable legacy in curriculum excellence and to meet popular demands of local communities, the preschool has since expanded to several centres across the Klang Valley.

Over the last 38 years, Peter & Jane has helped innumerable children enjoy their learning journey and paved the way for making the most of further education. Today, the alumni not only lead successful lives but have also returned to the preschool to enrol their own children into the programme. This stands as a firm testimony to their faith in Peter & Jane and its teaching methodology.

The programmes offered at Peter & Jane constantly evolve thanks to progressive research and development, and are in line with and exceed most aspects of the Malaysian Ministry of Education’s requirements for early childhood education. Adopting global best practices, the Peter & Jane curriculum and in-house trilingual programme offer a unique learning journey that balances between play and studies, leading to academic excellence and preparing children for admission to international, private and government schools.

The preschool follows a Bilingual & Trilingual thematic learning concept, where the childrens’ learning is focused through different theme sets each term. The immersion in a learning environment that is rich with sounds, sights and consistent exposure to the languages (English, Chinese, Bahasa Malaysia) connects the various subjects and prior knowledge within the theme, making the learning experience more meaningful to children.

The Nursery programme for children 2.5 to 4 years old focused on hands-on activities where they learn new concepts through working with didactic Montessori learning materials. Meanwhile, children from 5 to 6 years old begins their formal mastery of the 3Rs – Reading, Writing  Arithmetic at Kindergarten programme. This is to prepare children for a smooth transition to primary school. The programme, though teacher-oriented, remains child-centred.

We warmly welcome you and your children to visit any of our centres.
