As the only school in Malaysia to receive Mastering Status for the International Early Years curriculum (IEYC), Nexus International School Malaysia utilises a play-based approach to enhance learning and developing. From the ages of two to five, learning is inspired through practical activities. The early years curriculum is structured around the following themes – Entry Point, Capturing Curiosity, Enable the Environment, The Big Picture, Explore & Express and Exit Point. Learners are given opportunities to record and develop early reading, writing and number skills with creative and imaginative adult support. 

In operation since 2008, Nexus International School Malaysia (NISM) is a member of the established Taylor's Education Group, comprising several successful international schools following various curriculums in Malaysia and Singapore. The school is located in Putrajaya amidst lush greenery and a secure environment, and offers flexible (termly, weekly, daily) boarding facilities. With a current enrolment of 650 students from over 30 countries, NISM has implemented The Nexus Way – a philosophy encompassing the core pillars of Inclusion, Innovation, Mindsets and Relationships. This serves as a guide for the student body and teaching staff to achieve the Nexus vision of cultivating future global citizens and leaders. The school is an accredited Apple Distinguished School, a member of the Council of International Schools (CIS), a Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) centre and an accredited International Primary Curriculum (IPC) school.
