The Australian International School Malaysia (AISM) is the longest established Australian international school in Malaysia and celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. In conjunction with this, the school is offering 20 bursaries to deserving and aspiring students.

AISM aims to attract the brightest and most outstanding minds in Malaysia who are looking to take on the Higher School Certificate (HSC). The school believes that integrating deserving candidates into AISM’s community will not only serve as a stepping stone for the future growth of these young learners, but also provide them with an unparalleled learning experience as they strengthen AISM as a leading international school.

Over the past 20 years, AISM has been committed to guiding students to achieve their full potential and make a difference in the world. This year, to commemorate this special milestone, AISM is offering bursaries comprising a 100% Application Fee waiver, 20% Tuition Fee and Admission Fee waiver. These will be granted to deserving and academically excellent students in recognition of their achievements. All applicants must be students who are currently not enrolled at AISM.

AISM was formed at the beginning of February 2000 to offer children a wholesome education to prepare them for the future. From temporary premises in the Country Heights estate, the school moved into its current purpose-built premises in October 2003 offering a dynamic learning environment. In March 2007, the school secured its future by becoming part of the esteemed Taylor’s Education Group.

In early 2014, AISM celebrated its expansion with the opening of its new Junior School and Performing Arts Centre increasing the school's capacity to cater to more students. These premises featured flexible learning spaces, purpose-built rooms for dance, drama, music, orchestra and a black box theatre.

After two decades, AISM is the first Visible Learning School in the world and has approximately 500 students from Early Learning Years to Year 12. Spread over 7.5 acres of green space, the school offers primary and secondary education on the same campus, a wide range of extracurricular activities including team sports, STEM, robotics, forensic science, chess and many more.

AISM is now opening a world of possibilities for well-rounded students who have excellent academic achievements and outstanding leadership skills to pursue their educational aspirations. These bursaries are offered to applicants who are looking to be part of the AISM community, and who want to pursue their academic aspirations at the leading Australian school in Malaysia.
